A few blocks south on the very same street sits The Bluebird Cafe, the legendary 90-seat songwriter listening room founded in 1982 that helped launch Garth Brooks and a generation of Nashville singer-songwriters, and that the world got to know via the TV show 'Nashville'. So 'Cafe the Bluebird' at the Hillsboro Pike Trader Joe's is the most local of local tributes — a quiet little blue-and-rust songbird tucked into a twig nest, just up the road from one of the most famous rooms in American music.
